Kourtney Kardashian has threatened to slap the s*** out of an A-list actress over a very public diss. In the latest episode of Hulu's The Kardashians, which aired October 8, Kourtney vented to her friend Simon Huck about comments Jennifer Lawrence made about her — and made clear she was ready for a confrontation.
The feud traces back to 2025, when Lawrence, a family friend of the Kardashians, branded Kourtney as more annoying than ever during a Vanity Fair lie detector test alongside Robert Pattinson. Lawrence said she had stopped watching the family's reality show because of Kourtney's behavior in season seven. Everything has to be an announcement, Lawrence explained, mocking Kourtney's on-air declarations — from swearing off outfits to announcing she did not have a TV in her room. Just wear whatever you want, Lawrence said. Don't make an announcement about it. She added that Kourtney drives her nuts.
The Oscar winner later sent Kourtney an email addressing the dig. In the Hulu episode, Kourtney recounted the email to Huck, saying Lawrence wrote that she felt like one of Kourtney's sisters and that on rewatch, the comments were not that bad. Kourtney called the email so nice — but admitted she never replied to it.
Instead, she told her mother, Kris Jenner, that Lawrence thinks she is one of the sisters, and that she would slap the s*** out of her. Invite her over, Kourtney recalled telling Jenner, adding that they could go at it, Kourtney and Kim style — a reference to the sisters' infamous physical fights on their reality shows.
Kourtney explained that the email arrived during a sensitive week when the show was airing and she felt everybody was ganging up on her. The moment has set social media alight, with fans divided between those who found Kourtney's reaction hilarious and those who thought Lawrence's original comments were fair.
Lawrence has not publicly responded to the episode. The two women have long moved in the same celebrity circles, and Lawrence has previously described herself as a genuine fan of the family's show — which made her blunt criticism sting all the more. Whether the war of words escalates or fizzles into another reality-TV footnote remains to be seen. The episode is the latest viral moment for a show that has thrived on turning family friction into must-see television. Whether Lawrence fires back or lets the moment pass, the clip has already become one of the season's most talked-about scenes.
