Alstom Completes Delivery of 106 New Trains for Singapore's Busiest MRT Lines
Alstom has delivered the last of 106 new trains — 636 metro cars in total — completing the fleet renewal programme for Singapore's North-South and East-West MRT lines. The handover, announced this week, caps contracts awarded by the LTA in 2018 and 2019 to replace older-generation trains on the network's two busiest corridors.
