Tech Leaders Urge Government to Commit 20bn to British AI Sovereignty
Executives at BT, Leonardo and Hewlett Packard Enterprise have signed a letter urging ministers to commit more than £20bn over five years to sovereign AI infrastructure. The letter warns countries without domestic compute risk becoming dependent on decisions made elsewhere.
